Do you charge for the initial site meeting and estimate?
No, the initial site visit and estimate are part of the process in getting started with the project.
Do I need a design before work can be started?
Depending on the size and scope of the project it may be necessary to contract for design services. However, most of the time it is quite easy to discuss the various elements of the project and agree on the spaces and the materials that will be used.
What is needed to get started on a project?
A deposit for 1/3 down is usually the standard to cover the cost of materials. After the project is completed to satisfaction, a invoice is sent out for the remainder.
